Fine diamond jewellery is not an impulse commodity — it is an intentional acquisition. Our policies are structured to honour craftsmanship, material value, and responsible ownership.
1) General Return Eligibility
Returns are considered only for eligible ready products, subject to the following:
- Return request within 48 hours of delivery
- Item must be unworn, unused, unaltered
- Original packaging, invoice, and certification included
- Product must pass quality inspection
Approval is at the sole discretion of Vrddhi Diamonds after inspection.
2) Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for return or refund:
- Customised or bespoke jewellery
- CAD-approved pieces
- Engraved items
- Resized-to-order pieces
- Special exhibition-only pieces
These pieces are created specifically for you and cannot be resold.
3) Exchange Policy
Where applicable, eligible products may be exchanged subject to:
- Current metal and diamond market pricing
- Condition verification
- Price difference settlement (if applicable)
Exchanges are processed after inspection and confirmation.
4) Refund Processing
If a return is approved:
- Refunds will be processed via the original payment method.
- Processing timelines may vary based on banking channels.
- Making charges, customisation charges, and certification charges may not be refundable depending on case evaluation.
5) Manufacturing Defects
In the rare event of a genuine manufacturing defect:
- The piece will be inspected by our quality team.
- If confirmed, repair, replacement, or appropriate resolution will be offered at our discretion.
Damage due to wear, accidental impact, improper storage, or third-party alteration is not considered a manufacturing defect.
6) Resizing & Adjustments
Minor resizing may be offered depending on design feasibility.
Some designs (especially eternity bands, complex settings, or tension-set solitaires) may not permit resizing.
7) Buyback & Upgrade
Any buyback or upgrade policies, if applicable, are governed by separate terms shared at the time of purchase and are not automatically implied through website purchase.
8) Condition of Return
Returned items must:
- Be in pristine condition
- Not show scratches, dents, wear marks
- Include original certificate (if issued)
Failure to return certification may impact eligibility.
9) Fraud Prevention
Vrddhi Diamonds reserves the right to refuse returns/exchanges in cases of:
- Suspected tampering
- Stone switching
- Certificate mismatch
- Policy misuse
