At Vrddhi Diamonds, we believe jewellery is not a transaction — it is a relationship that grows over time. Our Buyback & Upgrade policy is designed to offer flexibility while preserving craftsmanship value and market realities.
1) Eligibility
Buyback or upgrade is applicable only for:
- Natural diamond jewellery purchased from Vrddhi Diamonds
- Original invoice and certification must be presented
- Product must pass quality inspection
2) Buyback Policy
If you choose to sell your Vrddhi piece back to us:
Gold Component
- Gold value will be calculated based on prevailing market rate on the date of evaluation
- Standard deductions may apply for impurities or wear
Diamond Component
- Diamond buyback valuation is subject to:
- Market conditions
- Current demand and grading
- Stone condition
- Certification must match the stone submitted
Making charges, GST, and customisation charges are non-refundable.
Final buyback value will be communicated post inspection.
3) Upgrade Policy
You may upgrade your Vrddhi natural diamond jewellery under the following structure:
- The new purchase value must be equal to or greater than the original invoice value (minimum threshold may apply).
- The existing product will be evaluated and credited toward the new purchase.
- Any difference must be settled at prevailing prices.
Upgrades are subject to stone integrity verification and documentation validation.
4) Exclusions
Buyback/upgrade may not apply to:
- Custom heavy modifications
- Damaged or altered pieces
- Pieces altered by third parties
- Missing certification (where originally provided)
5) Inspection & Approval
All buyback and upgrade requests undergo:
- Physical inspection
- Stone authentication
- Certification cross-verification
Vrddhi Diamonds reserves the right to decline requests that do not meet quality or documentation standards.
6) Discretion & Transparency
All evaluations are conducted transparently and communicated clearly before final acceptance.
7) Governing Terms
This policy is subject to revision based on market dynamics. The applicable policy will be the one active at the time of request.
